SURVEY: What is the DIFFERENCE between the TREATMENT of POWs in BOTH STORIES and WHY?

In the first story, the captured man feared he would be killed daily. He was innocent and didn't deserve imprisonment. No one at Guantanamo fears being killed. They are given more luxuries than they deserve. They have Qurans, prayer mats, halal food, soccer, etc. He killed himself. He was a terrorist and guilty. Maybe his guilty finally caught up with him.
